As a CEO I need to know how fundraising works. The NAFS programme gave me that strategic overview — and helped me see what my role could be in delivering a sustainable programme. It also helped me focus our energies to where the money was. A terrific insight for a CEO.

Who we are

Shakespeare Schools Foundation is an award-winning cultural education charity that gives young people across the UK the confidence to succeed in life using Shakespeare as a source of drama inspiration.

How the NAFS team helped

Having attended myself, I’ve now sent team members on the programme to help them develop their fundraising, Bernard the School director advised us on messaging for our gala event. The result was a significant increase in the value of our collection. The NAFS team also offered advice on our Big Give campaign ask. They helped us secure almost £60K — three times as much as we ever had. An amazing result.
