Who I am
Ruth Harvey was voted IoF West Midlands Fundraiser of the Year in 2018 for contribution to the Midlands arts & cultural sector. She works with BE Festival, Birmingham Repertory Theatre & Sampad.
How the NAFS team helped
I have been fundraising for around seven years, specialising in arts and culture for around four years. I felt a little stuck and unsure of the next steps in my career. NAFS reinvigorated my sense of purpose and focus, gave me a host of new skills and knowledge to deploy – which has enabled me to grow my career and support a number of organisations across the Midlands. I’m now an award-winning fundraiser too!
